Frequently asked

Everything parents and applicants actually ask.

Real questions I get on WhatsApp every week — answered honestly. Can't see yours? Use the form below and I'll reply within 24 hours.

    Sessions & format

First I'll ask what's coming up — which uni, what station type, what you're worried about. Then we go straight into mock stations: MMI, panel, ethics, role play, whatever you need. After every answer I tell you exactly what worked, what didn't, and how I'd reword it. By the end you'll have 2 or 3 specific things to go away and fix before next session.

Most 1-to-1 sessions are 1 hour. If interviews are coming up in the next few weeks I'd push you towards a 1.5 or 2 hour session — gives us proper time to run a full mock and actually go through it without rushing. Group sessions are 1.5–2 hours so everyone gets a fair shot at talking.

It depends what you're prepping for. For interviews, around 2 months is the sweet spot — long enough to fix what needs fixing without burning out the week before. Most of my best students started in October or November and we ramped up the mocks in December and January. For UCAT, it's shorter — around a month to a month and a half before your test date. UCAT is about drilling technique and timing under pressure, so focused, intensive prep works better than spreading it out.

I'll look at your most recent mock and figure out where you're actually losing marks — usually it's one or two specific question types in each section. Then we drill those, with the timing techniques that work. You leave each session with a focused question set to do before we meet again, and we keep track of your scores so you can actually see it going up.

UCAT sessions are run by Muhammed, who scored in the 95th and 96th percentile across two UCAT sittings and holds offers from UCL, QMUL and Birmingham for Medicine. All interview tutoring, personal statement reviews and mock interviews are run by Haroon.

Online for now (Zoom or Google Meet). In-person mock interview circuits at top universities are coming soon — there's a waitlist on the Services page if you want first dibs.

    Results & track record

Two things really. One — I scored ~90/100 at my QMUL interview and got 'recommended without hesitation', which is basically the highest verdict you can get and I've genuinely never seen it given to anyone else. Two — every single interview I personally sat turned into an offer, including unis where most people get rejected after interviews. So I'm not just teaching theory, I'm teaching what actually worked for me, plus everything I've learnt from tutoring nearly 100 students this year.

About 98% of my students this cycle got a Medicine or Dentistry offer — that's out of nearly 100 students. You can see the real UCAS screenshots on the Results page. No stock photos, no fake reviews, just actual offer letters from actual students.

No one can honestly guarantee that — the unis have the final say, and stuff like your grades and uni choices isn't fully in my hands. What I can promise is you'll walk in knowing how to handle every type of station, you'll have done it under proper pressure with me, and you'll know exactly what your weak spots are. That's why my track record sits at around 98%.

    Booking & payment

Pick a service on the Book page, choose how many hours, and pay at checkout. Within 24 hours I'll message you with a prep plan and times that work around your schedule.

Yeah no problem — as long as it's more than 24 hours before the session. Inside 24 hours I usually can't refund because the slot's already held for you.

Yes — but only for UCAT tutoring (1-to-1 and group). You get a free 30-minute trial session so you can see how I teach and decide if it's the right fit before booking properly. I don't offer trials for interview prep or personal statement reviews — those are short, high-impact pieces of work where the value lands inside the first paid session.

Yep. If you're after 8+ hours of 1-to-1 prep, just message me directly and I'll sort you a package price.

Just message me. Tell me where you're at with your application and I'll give you my honest take, even if that means starting with fewer hours than you were planning.

Yes — all payments are processed through Stripe (the same payment processor used by Amazon, Deliveroo, ASOS, etc.). I never see or store your card details. You'll get an instant email receipt straight from Stripe.

Yes — if you're eligible for a school or college bursary, email admin@medentia.co.uk with proof of your bursary eligibility and I'll apply a discount to any service. No long forms, no hassle — just want to make sure cost isn't the reason someone misses out.

Full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before your session. Inside 24 hours, the slot's already held for you so refunds aren't possible — but I'll always try to reschedule if something genuinely urgent comes up.

    Resources & free stuff

Yeah — head to the Resources page. Free UCAT cheatsheets, MMI question packs, NHS hot topics, personal statement templates, the lot. All written by me, all free.

Nope. All 1-to-1 sessions are online (Zoom or Google Meet) so I work with students nationwide. The in-person mock circuits at top universities are the only thing that may be location-specific.

WhatsApp: usually within an hour. Form or email to admin@medentia.co.uk: within 24 hours, often the same day.

    About me

Me — Haroon. I built Medentia from scratch and I take every 1-to-1 interview and personal statement session myself. I scored ~90/100 at QMUL, got recommended without hesitation, and have tutored almost 100 students into Medicine and Dentistry this year. Parents trust me because the results are visible — real offers, real feedback, no fluff. You can also find me on TikTok at @reapplicantmedh1.

Honestly, just look at the proof. The Results page has real UCAS screenshots from real students, my own QMUL feedback is up on the homepage (89.5/100), and almost every WhatsApp message on the site is from an actual student or parent. Nothing's anonymous, nothing's made up.
